Scope: VIP Team Suite – Stage 3 Design Pack (D&B Handover)

Crux was appointed to design a discreet, high-performance suite for one of Nomura’s top-performing internal teams. Developed in close collaboration with the bank’s internal architect and property team, the project called for a refined, detail-driven approach aligned with Nomura’s understated corporate elegance.

The brief focused on delivering a workplace that conveyed quiet prestige, balancing hospitality-level comfort with traditional financial sector expectations. Crux produced a comprehensive Stage 3 design pack, with bespoke joinery, tailored acoustic strategy, and privacy-conscious planning, all intended for implementation by a third-party design-and-build contractor.

Though the overall layout and intent were retained, several design elements were compromised during delivery. Crux remained engaged post-handover to clarify key decisions and support the recovery of design quality, reinforcing the importance of consistent oversight in nuanced, high-touch environments.
