Scope: Stage 3+ Design

Crux was appointed to deliver the Stage 3 design for JLR’s new office in Bangalore, the first in a multi-phase programme supporting the brand’s rapid growth in India. More than a fit-out, this project was a strategic pilot, balancing global workplace guidelines with local needs and delivery realities.

With the local team expanding from 15 to over 450 people in under two years, Crux’s role extended beyond design: interpreting UK standards, translating them to fit Indian workspace norms, and mediating between UK and India-based stakeholders. The result was a design that respected corporate principles while enabling flexibility, efficiency, and cultural relevance.

Delivered as an enhanced Stage 3+ pack suitable for local tender, the project set a new benchmark not only for workplace experience but also for procurement strategy, contractor due diligence, and stakeholder alignment across continents
